The swags by Hardantler Camping Co come with pegs and poles. You do not need to use them if you are sleeping indoors, undercover, or outdoors on a nice evening. Just roll your swag out and jump in.
The poles and pegs are really just an added bonus to keep moisture/frost/bugs off you and for shelter from the wind if you need to.
The mattress in our swags is also removable. If you were taking your swag on a hunt, or carrying it up the side of a river for a couple of nights fishing I would suggest taking out the foam mattress and replacing it with an air mattress for less bulk and weight.
